The Information Letter of Ekoconnect informs regularly about developments in organic farming in Central Eastern European Countries. It is available at the Ekoconnect Homepage.
European Information System for Organic Market and Production Data (EISFOM)
As part of the European Project European Information System for Organic Markets EISFOM (running 2004 to 2006) country reports about the data collection systems in all European countries were compiled.

FAO is one of the publishers of the study World Markets for Organic Fruit and Vegetables - Opportunities for Developing Countries in the Production and Export of Organic Horticultural Products", 2001 available at the FAO Homepage. The study contains numerous country reports (2000).
International Trade Centre ITC: Country repports at the ITC organic farming homepage
The organic food and products country profiles provide a quick overview of the situation of the organic sector in Asian and African countries. These profiles also include information about the country’s geographic location, its agricultural sector and about the key organic products available. Most reports are from 2006.
United States Department of Agriculture: Foreign Agricultural Service
The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the United States Department of Agriculture foreign provides reports about the situation of organic farming. These reports can either be searched for via the main Organic Products Page (for country reports go to "resources") or the document database at the FAS Homepage (go to "commodity" > "organic products" and select the country).
Mediterranean Organic Agriculture Network MOAN
The Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (IAMB), www.iamb.it, Italian offshoot of the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), has a number of activities related to organic agriculture in the Mediterranean countries and provides country reports at its homepage.
Furthermore the Mediterranean Agricultural Institute IAMB has prepared a report about organic farming in the Mediterranean Countries: Il biologico nel Bacino del Mediterraneo, IAMB, ISMEA, March 2008 (in Italian).

At the Organic Europe Homepage, maintained by FiBL, reports on the situation of organic farming in European countries as well as an extensive address database are available. Link
