European Union: New implementing rules on organic production published
The implementing rules for the new regulation on organic production were published in the Official Journal L 250 of September 18, 2008.

The full title of the new organic regulation is Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 of 5 September 2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control.
Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 to which it refers was published on June 28 in 2007.
