Japan: New Study on the Organic Market
According to Organic Market Info 170-page study entitled "Japanese Organic Market 2010-2011" has recently been published by corporate consultant ABC Enterprises in cooperation with IFOAM Japan.

The organic market in Japan currently achieves sales equivalent to about 1.3 billion US dollars, with a share of some one percent of the food market.
However, experts see great potential in the East Asian country, which is heavily dependent on imports.
