The 3rd Scientific Conference of the International Society of Organic Agriculture Research (www.ISOFAR.org) takes place in the frame of the 17th IFOAM Organic World Congress (www.kowc2011.org) in Gyeonggi Paldang, Republic of Korea, from September to October 1, 2011.

ISOFAR expects this event to become a milestone for the development of the organic sector in Korea and other Asian countries. Based on the experiences gained in Adelaide (2005) and Modena (2008) the organizers have set up a comprehensive programme for important stakeholders of the organic sector including farmers, consultants and researchers.
