May 18-20, 2009: First Nordic Organic Conference 'Towards increased sustainability in the food supply chain ' in Gothenburg, Sweden

The Nordic Organic Conference 'Towards increased sustainability in the food supply chain ' will take place from May 18-20, 2009, in Gothenburg, Sweden. The aim of the Nordic Organic Conference NOC is to create a Nordic forum with the focus on organic food and sustainable food production and consumption.

Through mutual exchanges of knowledge between researchers and other stakeholders, development towards increased sustainability in the food supply chain can be promoted.

The NOC programme is now available and is characterized by:

• High relevance for all or part of the organic food supply chain, not only in the Nordic countries.
• In-depth seminars and workshops.
• High integration of research and practical experience-based knowledge.
