Organic Research Centre’s 2011 Organic Producer Conference: First Announcement and Call for Papers

The Organic Research Centre’s 2011 Organic Producer Conference will be held from 17-18th January at the Four Pillars Hotel, Cotswold Water Park, near Cirencester, in the UK.

Organised as part of the Organic Research Centre’s 30th Anniversary celebrations (www.organicresearchcentre.com), the conference aims to support organic producers and promote the best practice application of organic and agro-ecological principles. It will cover several major themes including arable and horticultural production; livestock production, advisory tools and support,  as well agro-forestry, agri-environment and rural development policy, climate change and soil management.

The programme is currently under development and further information will be available in October 2010.

At this stage, the Organic Research Centre is inviting producers, producer groups and others to put forward suggestions for presentations or workshop topics.
