September 21-22, 2011: First Central American Congress & Fair on Organic Agriculture in Honduras

On September 21 and 22, 2011, the first Central American Organic Congress and Fair (Primer Congreso Centroamericano de Agricultura Orgánica y a la Primera Feria Centroamericana de Productos Orgánicos e Insumos para la Agricultura Orgánica) is taking place in capital city of Honduras.

 

Both events are organized by the National Committee on Organic Agriculture in Honduras  (Comité Nacional de Agricultura Orgánica de Honduras (CNAOH). Venue is the Hotal Clarion in the country's capital Tegucigalpa.

The congress and fair are supported by a number of institutions, including RUTA.  RUTA (www.ruta.org )is the  FiBL partner in Central America who coordinates the data collection on organic agriculture in this part of the world.
