March 18-22, 2013: Organic Agricultural Research and Training in West Africa: Presence, Challenges and Prospects in Sierra Leone

The conference "Organic Agricultural Research and Training in West Africa: Presence, Challenges and Prospects" will take place from March 18-22, 2013 at Njala University, Njala, Sierra Leone.

 

The conference is organised by the West African Network for Organic Agriculture, Research and Training (WANOART), WANOART is a regional network formed by a consortium of five higher education instiutions (HEIs) from West Africa. The purpose of the regional network is to facilitate exchange of ideas, encourage collaboration and to develop organic production methods which are locally relevant.

The ultimate aim of the network and the project is to stimulate the development of organic production in the West African region as a whole.
