From June 24 to 26, 2015, a joint event of the Working Group Plant Microbe Interaction of EUCARPIA - the European Association for Research on Plant Breeding, ECO-PB - the European Consortium for Organic Plant Breeding, and Core Organic Project COBRA (Co-ordinating Organic plant BReeding Activities for diversity) is taking place at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan, near Munich.
Three different events related to plant breeding will take place:
- On June 24 to 25, 2015, there will be meetings of different work package groups of the European Project COBRA, with the possibility of attending one of the two field tours.
- On June 25 and 26, 2015 a new EUCARPIA Working Group on Plant Microbe Interaction will be inaugurated. This working group should stimulate the exchange between new research in plant microbe interaction and potential applications in plant breeding. The organisers are hoping for extensive exchange among the participants. Abstracts are most welcome until 15th May 2015.
- On June 26, 2015 there will be a working group meeting of the European Consortium for Organic Plant Breeding (ECO-PB).
Those wishing to attend the event please register via the FiBL registration service.
