The goals of the conference are to explore the development of the organic sector in the different countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, to communicate practical experiences and research results, to exchange experiences, and to support the organic industry at times of economic crisis.
The very successful first conference in Kiev, Ukraine, held in April 2008 registered 220 participants from 25 countries.
Organisers of the conference are the organic association Elkana, the agricultural faculty in Tbilisi, the Organic Federation of Ukraine and Organic Services, Munich.
