The presentation has 90 slides, summarizing the key data on organic farming world-wide as published in the 2009 edition of The World of Organic Agriculture.
The following is available:
1) Graphs and texts on the status of organic agriculture world-wide in 2007
2) Graphs and texts on selected crops grown in organic agriculture 2007
3) Graphs and texts on organic farming in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Oceania (countries with the most organic land, land use, market data if available).
The graphs and texts can be downloaded as a PDF file. The printed and the PDF versions of the 2009 edition of the yearbook The World of Organic Agriculture contain a password (on page 2) which will give access to the Power Point presentation.
Currently the new survey on organic farming is carried out jointly by FiBL and IFOAM. The latest results will be presented at the BioFach Organic Trade Fair, to take place in Nuremburg, Germany, February 17-20, 2010.
