Papers are welcomed from all fields of organic farming covering a wide range of topics including:
- Mediterranean organic farming and new consumption models;
- The impact of climate changes on soil management and defence of cultural practices in Mediterranean crop and livestock production;
- Organic Aquaculture and sustainable fishing in the Mediterranean regions;
- Nutritional and organoleptic quality of the organic product in the Mediterranean area;
- Transition towns and organic farming in the Mediterranean regions;
- The role of renewable energies in the Mediterranean organic farming;
- Economic policies for Mediterranean organic farming;
- Energetic and ethical efficiency and management of human and social resources in the organic supply chain;
- Multifunctionality of organic farm (landscape and biodiversity maintenance, education, recreation, etc.)
The language of the workshop is English.
The workshop is carried out by GRAB-IT in cooperation with the International Society of Organic Agriculture Research (ISOFAR), the Mediterranian Agronomic Institute in Bari (IAM Bari), and the IFOAM Mediterranean Group Agrobiomediterraneo.
