Over 400 participants attended the first conference of the Hungarian Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (ÖMKi) on February 2, 2012. The conference theme was the “State of organic agriculture in Hungary - Trends and breakout points” and generated exceptional interest.
The event was hosted by Szent István University in Gödöllo.

The conference proceedings – published in Hungarian – can be downloaded there as well.
The organizers plan to publish the professional opinions presented in the conference sessions to summarize the sector’s current state and future opportunities.
