The Organic Agriculture Development training programme will give theoretical and practical knowledge in important subjects for the development of organic agriculture in developing countries.
Applications for the OAD training 2009 had to be submitted to the Swedish Embassy before February 20, 2009.
Main components of the curriculum are:
- Standards and certification
- Supporting structures and policies
- Markets for organic products
- Production systems
- Program/project design and implementation
The training programme has taken place for several years now, and it is organised by Grolink, funded by the Swedish International Development Co-operation Sida/Asdi.
